Day four is filled with lots of goodies and we have a second time lapse video! This is where the coach starts to look like an actual coach.
First things first is the back wall is installed. This starts the ball rolling for the rest of the walls.
The side walls are installed with these really cool cranes and straps. Their is no way these guys would be able to muscle these walls into place without these cranes.
Yeah for technology!
The end cap is fully installed at this point. Using those really cool cranes again with suction cups on them this time.
While all this is going on, another team is working on the ceiling. By working on, I mean, running all wires in the ceiling, putting the vents into place and the ceiling trim on.
Before the ceiling can go into place, the front cabinets need to go into place.
Fiberglass Roof Put Into Place
After the ceiling is up and everything checks out ok, it’s time to put up the fiberglass roof.
Once the fiberglass roof is installed it’s time to install all the roof top items.
I tell you one thing, the employees really don’t skimp on the Dicor or silicone.
Now it’s time for the slides! Now remember when we showed you the slide out shells that they made yesterday? Well, after they were cured another team got to work on the insides of the slides. So all the slides have all the cabinetry and furniture in place. So now it’s time install the slides.
I love it when everything fits together like it’s supposed to.
So today we started with some inside walls in place and we ended with outside walls, slides, end cap and roof all installed and ready for tomorrow.
We’re amazed every day at what these people here at Tiffin pull off. We’re so glad we came to the plant and did this.
Here is the time lapse video for todays build. Remember, best viewed in HD and full screen using the options at the bottom right of the player.
